Description

Corvara, La Villa and Pedraces are traditional mountain villages known for being ideal starting points for several hiking day tours. I organised for you a hiking traverse including a nice and charming accommodation (hotel, hostel or holiday apartment) in one of these beautiful mountain villages.

I will show you the best places for enjoy the real Italian gastronomy specialties and I can also give you some interesting and secret insider knowledge.

The Dolomites are a huge and amazing place where you could spend your entire life. I picked out the most important hiking highlights and planned a unique hiking week  to show you the most beautiful places of this area.

Further, each day you will have the choice between an easy and a difficult hike. What is more, I will discuss and plan the next day with you each afternoon, while we enjoy the rest of our day with a drink. I will be happy to consider your wishes and ideas.

Here are a few examples for fantastic day tour possibilities:

Falzarego, Lagazuoi
This is an incredible and historical place. We follow the tracks from the WWI to explore secret underground tunnel systems and dugouts. Besides that we will enjoy an incredible view from the traditional Lagazuoi Hut on the highest peaks of the Dolomites like Marmolata, Civetta and also the Tofan Massive.

Fanes
Fanes is the largest natural reserve of the south of Tirol. It extends from the Valley of Prags over Toblach to Alta Badia. Fanes has one of the most beautiful and different landscape formed of meadows, forests and crystal clear mountain lakes. Additionally, it is the home of an unique flora and fauna. The area is often called “the kingdom of the marmots”. The absolute highlight of this part is the famous Pragser Wildsee, a beautiful mountain lake… a perfect spot for several day tours!

Sella
The Boèspitz is the highest summit of the Dolomites with an altitude of 3151 meters. The Sella Massif is in the north of Marmolata, the highest peak of the south of Tirol. This impressive peak can be climbed with the help of a chairlift and a short hike. Moreover, once on the top you can observe the extreme para-gliders and base jumpers which jump off the sheer cliffs of the summit, flying over the roofs of Corvara.

Cinque Torri
The Cinque Torri is located between Falzarego and Cortina. It’s very popular because there are many climbing routes in these impressive walls. So, we will hike around these towers. Then, we will have a break in one of the several mountain huts to enjoy some cold drink and regional specialties. In addition, on the foot of the Cinque Torri there is a museum about the war between the Austrians and the Italians during the WWI. You will have the opportunity to visit it.

Please get in touch with me if you wish to discover this awesome region. It will be my great pleasure to guide you there  and let you leave an unforgettable hike among some of the most beautiful landscapes of Europe.
