Description

Join me in this trip hiking to Lake 69 and climbing Pisco, in the Cordillera Blanca. See some of the most beautiful landscapes in the Peruvian Andes!

Lake 69 is located in Yungay town, in the Llanganuco valley. It sits below the Chacraraju mountain. In fact, it is one of the most beautiful azure lakes on Earth. Tall sharp peaks surrounding, and the reflections on the lake are a feast for the eyes. Indeed, this beautiful landscape attracts every year visitors from around the world.

Hiking to lake 69 is also a perfect acclimatization for climbing Pisco. Furthermore, from the summit of Pisco we will see many magnificent peaks of Cordillera Blanca.

While Lake 69 sits at 4500 m, the Pisco summit rises to 5752 m.

Do you find this trip in Cordillera Blanca interesting? Then please contact me for more information! I also offer an option to do only the hike to Lake 69 if you prefer.
