Description

Kamchatka is a large volcanic peninsula lying on Siberia, in the Russian Far East. The area is remote, and has over 200 volcanoes, 29 of which are active. It is also a part of the famous Pacific Ring of Fire.

Hiking through those giant volcanoes you’ll be able to see some truly unique landscape that has some wonderful highlights. Those highlights include hot springs, lava fields, geysers, sludge pools, fumaroles and crater lakes.

Kamchatka also has a great amount of wildlife. The brown bear, for example, can be found in almost every part of the Peninsula, and don’t be surprised if you get to see one relaxing or eating. Just don’t get too close!

This 9-day heliskiing trip will give you the chance to ski in the fjords of  the coastline, forests and volcanoes. In addition, you will have the chance to admire the wild beauty of the active volcanoes overlooking the sea.

Furthermore, the skiing days themselves are long. Thus giving you the chance to appreciate the quality of the powder snow. And just for an added bonus, we’ll most likely be the only ones in the skiing area!

Kamchatka is a unique, isolated, and incredible area to visit. And over the course of 9 special days, my hope is that you will accumulate enough memories to last a lifetime. So if you want to be a part of this adventure, just send me a request, and I will be glad to be your guide.

I organise other heliskiing adventures. They include one in Alyeska, Alaska and one in La Thuile & Valgrisenche, in Italy.
