Come with me on an unforgettable 17-day expedition to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro (5,895m).
Mount Kilimanjaro is the highest peak in Africa. Everything about it is impressive. From its three cones, Kibo, Mawenzi and Shira. To its isolated location. Which makes it look even more incredible. There is so much to love and admire about this peak. And because of its legendary reputation, climbers from all over dream of scaling it.
However, on this trip, you will not only climb this amazing slumbering volcano by way of the beautiful Machame route on the ascent, and the stunning Mweka route on the descent. You will also climb Mount Meru (4,562m). So you can get better acclimatized. And during the last days of the trip you will also have the chance to visit the Tarangire National Park and the N’gorongoro Crater. Where you will get to marvel at the beautiful wildlife and flora that can only be truly appreciated when seen in its natural habitat.
And regarding the climb itself, as a result of the prior acclimatization climb of Mount Meru, you will only have to worry about drinking plenty of water, and maintaining a slow, steady pace. As long as you do that, you will reach the summit safely. Where you will have the privilege of seeing one of the most stupendous views in the entire world.
This trip is not just about climbing a mountain. Even if that mountain is Kilimanjaro. This trip is about having a life changing experience. It is about seeing, exploring and feeling the special landscape of Africa. Thus the diversity of the itinerary. There is just so much to see and do around Kilimanjaro that climbing it just isn’t enough.
So come, let me guide you on an expedition that will leave you breathless. An expedition full of lava peaks, plateaus, peaks, wildlife, snow, glaciers and adventure.
I’ll be awaiting your message.
And if you want to enjoy another expedition at another one of the world’s most impressive peaks, Mount Manaslu in Nepal, you can also join me on this trip.
