Freeriders from all over the world, come with me to this wonderful adventure in La Grave! We will spend a whole week together skiing freely along the spectacular French Alps.
La Grave and its surrounding landscapes need to be visited at least once by every freerider. Its sharp northern runs and massive vertical meters make this area one of the most amazing spots for freeriding in the Alps and beyond.
From the Dome de la Lauze’s upper station, at 3500 meters, we will encounter a variety of fantastic downhill runs directed to La Grave. Their level of steepness goes from rather moderately steep to very steep.
Also, some of the trip’s highlights are the runs Glacier de la Girose, Trifides and the one to Saint Christoph –an isolated mountain village-.
We will not only see the La Grave area, but also a neighboring areas of Alp d’Huez or Les 2 Alpes. These offer a perfect setting for off-piste skiing as well.
And, if we encounter bad weather, we can go by car to Les Monitiers. In addition to being really close, it offers a great space for freeriding too.
Please note that having several years of freeride experience is mandatory in order to join this trip. Also, Speedy skiing in all type of snow conditions and terrain. Besides, you should be in optimal physical conditions since we may have to climb upwards on skins for up to an hour.
So, if you are looking for a different adventure in a breathtaking landscape, join me in this one-week expedition to La Grave. Send me a request and book your spot! The experience of freeriding in the French Alps is simply unforgettable.
I also guide a fantastic 6-day freeride traverse in Germany. You should check it out!
