Laguna 69 is one of over 400 lakes in the Huascarán National Park, a UNESCO world heritage site located in Peru’s Cordillera Blanca. This glittering blue lake boasts an altitude of 4,600 m (15,100 ft) and is a popular location to catch awe-inspiring views of peaks such as the majestic Huascarán, Huandoy, Yanapaccha, Pisco and Chacraraju mountains.

On this 2-day adventure, we will set off early from Huaraz and drive to Cebollapampa, the starting point of our trek. From there, we will hike 3 hours to the beautiful lagoon, following the path of a trickling stream with lovely small waterfalls on the way. We will spend the night in tents and enjoy the meals of a certified chef who will come with us. Finally, the following day, we will return after breakfast. You can find a detailed itinerary below.
