There are many places to practice backcountry skiing in the world. But few offer as many possibilities as Banff in Alberta, Canada. And within this region, Lake Louise is one of the best destinations for skiers. Join me on this backcountry adventure, and discover one of the most beautiful places in Canada!

This is a customized trip. Starting at 1 day, but extending for 2 or more, depending on your own schedule, we’ll explore one of the best spots for backcountry skiing.

Banff and Lake Louise are some of the most seeked destinations for skiing in the country. Due to the magnificent mountains, pristine wilderness and lots of snow, they are ideal for this activity.

I will take you to my favorite spots in the mountain, where you’ll enjoy the absolutely best powder riding. You’ll find runs that range from easy to almost vertical!

To reach the best spots, and out of convenience, we’ll use some lifts. Also, depending on your physical condition and what activities you wish to do, we might tour back or using the lifts as well.

Some of the places we might visit, depending on the number of days you wish to ski are:

    • Purple Bowl
    • Pumpkin Bowl
    • Wolverine Ridge
    • National Geo-graphics
    • Corral Paths
    • West Bowl

Since this trip involves off piste skiing, it is important to know the risks, from avalanches to reaching unknown areas. That is why one of my main goals is ensuring your security. We will go over all the safety regulations to make sure you have a fun and safe trip.

So let me take you to the best spots for backcountry skiing, while you explore one of the most dazzling places in Canada. Please send me a request, and I’ll make sure your trip in Lake Louise is unforgettable!

But, if you are looking for a summer adventure, why not try some rock climbing? Check out this course in Alberta that I also guide.

What People are Saying about Jeff Bullock

My guide was Christian from the same company (vs Jeff). I was thrilled with the service, friendliness, knowledge, and professionalism. We went to Sunshine Slab near Banff to sport climb for a half day. We managed to get a lot of memorable climbs in a short amount of time. I would gladly use these guys again.

Jeff was so kind to the kids, he encouraged and motivated our 12 y/o eldest, and was tolerant and patient with our 9 y/o young one. Extremely recommended for families. We had much fun on the Banff cliffs.
