I invite you to a 4-day freeride skiing tour around the stunning Lotschental Valley, in Switzerland.
Lotschental is the largest and one of the most beautiful valleys in the canton of Valais. It is located in the northern face of the amazing Rhône Valley. During these 4 days, I will take you to enjoy the best skiing options in a wide and open terrain.
We really enjoy coming to Lötschental since the cable car to the Hockenhorn has been completed. However, it can get quite busy during weekends or holiday times, as it is a small valley. In that case, we just need to put the skins under the skis and then climb up a little to find the untouched powder we are looking for.
We will find an inmense variety of options for freeriding here. From the summit of the Hockenhorn we can ski down 1700 vertical meters to the valley floor. Not to mention the highlight of the trip beyond the Gitzifurggu to Leukerbad.
We will also enjoy a delicious meal in the cozy Lötschenpass Hut. Then, another great descent takes us along the impressive Balmhorn. Not to forget the incredible run from the top of the Tennbachlicka.
Also, if weather and conditions allow, and if you wish so, we will enjoy two helicopter drops: one to the Petersgrat and the other to the Ebnefluh. Both are incredible mountains of the Bernese Alps. They offer steep freeride skiing runs among wild vertical drops that lead us back to Lotschental.
In order to join this trip, you need previous freeride experience, safe and speedy skiing in all type of snow and terrain. We may climb on skings for up to an hour, or even longer. It all depends on the current conditions at that time.
So hurry up to book your place! Send me a request and start making plans for this amazing trip in Lotschental. I also offer a great guided freeriding week in La Grave, in France. Check it out!
