Mont Blanc (4,810m) is one of the most thrilling mountains to climb in the Alps. On this 3 day adventure, you will be able to reach its beautiful summit at a comfortable pace along the mountain’s normal route.

Please be aware that both this program and my 2-day ascent to the Mont Blanc summit require previous acclimatization and some prior mountaineering experience, including how to use an ice axe or walk in crampons. Plus, you’ll need to have a very good fitness level.

On day 1 of the ascent, we will meet at Les Houches cable car at 2 pm. After the gondola ride, a train ride to the Nid d’Aigle and an approximate 2 hour walk, we will reach the Refuge de Tete Rousse, where you can look up and admire the stars after the blanket of evening falls.

On day 2, we will depart from the refuge at 7 am and climb for approximately 2-3 hours to the Gouter refuge. Once there, we will relax for lunch, before making our way to Mont Blanc’s summit. We will climb on the normal route during the day, so there will be no midnight wake up call. Also, when making the ascent during the day, there are far less people. We should reach the summit at around 4 pm. On the summit, you will have all the time you need to take in the amazing views. Afterwards we will return to the Gouter Refuge for a well-deserved meal and sleep.

Finally, on day 3, we will wake up and start our descent back down to the valley at 7 am.

In my opinion, the 3-day program is the perfect option for those with previous acclimatization and experience. Compared to the 2-day trip, it gives us more options if the weather is bad and the ascent is slower and allows for more rest time.

Climbing Mont Blanc is an unforgettable experience. And having the opportunity to climb it at a slower pace, with the sun always shining as you ascend, makes the experience even better. If you want me to be your guide, click on the “Request to Book” button and send me a message.

This 3-day ascent is only suitable for experienced mountaineers with previous acclimatisation. People with less experience, should check out my 5-day program: Mont Blanc ascent in 5 days via Gouter Route.

If you refuse option a), our cancellation policy will apply. Please note, however, that the call to cancel a trip due to bad weather can only be made by the guide (not the client).

About the Guide

I was born in 1990 and I am based in Toulon. I am a high mountain guide and photographer. I started loving climbing during my youth, and I later discovered alpinism. This took me to visit many paths in the Alps, as well as expeditions. At the same time, I became a high mountain guide when I was 24 because I loved it and wanted to share my passion.
I like to travel and I offer my services in the French massifs (Mercantour, Hautes Alpes, Chamonix) and abroad (Switzerland, Italy) all year long. I will do my best to enrich your journey with my experience and to guide you to reach you dream summit.
