Join Edward, an IFMGA certified guide, on this 3-day heliboarding trip in the Mont Blanc area. Explore the best snowboarding and skiing spots, enjoy incredible off-piste descents, and get pampered at The Bekker Mountain Chalet.
This 3-day guided heli-boarding trip in Mont Blanc is the perfect combination of natural beauty, fun and adventure. Join me on this weekend getaway and explore the stunning snow capped mountains around Chamonix and Verbier.
The helicopter will take you to the magnificent Vallée du Trient, a gorgeous little valley in between 2 mountain passes, with some of the greatest snowboarding and skiing in the area. I will also take you to the Trient Glacier. After reaching it, you will get to snowboard on some of the most amazing untouched snow on Earth.
If you love exploring amazing slopes and also enjoy off-piste challenges, this trip is for you. The program combines at least 1 heli-boarding drop with 2 days of ski passes. This way, you can snowboard or ski on a wide variety of terrain and explore different mountains around Mont Blanc.
I want you to really savor all the treats Mont Blanc and its surroundings offer. Therefore, I will make sure your accommodation is as exceptional as the descents you will enjoy. You will be staying at my Chalet, The Bekker Mountain Chalet. As someone who absolutely adores mountains, skiing and exploring them, I made sure the Bekker Mountain Chalet has everything a snowboarder could ask for.
The Chalet is located on the edge of the town of Finhaut. It has all the amenities of a first class hotel, combined with the coziness of a mountain cabin. It has delicious food, Wi-Fi, a private sauna, a beautiful furnished terrace with stunning views and a relaxing wood heated hot tub.
If you want to experience an unforgettable snowboarding weekend, exploring and enjoying the best of the Alps, just send me a request. I’ll make sure you have an amazing time.
If you are looking for a longer trip, I also offer this 8 Day Ski Tour in Chamonix – Zermatt.

In 1987 I became a certified mountain guide after an intense four-year training program at the Technical University of Munich, thus becoming the first guide from the Netherlands to be IFMGA-certified and probably worldwide one of the first guides not originating from an alpine country. As a guide, I do everything from beginner courses in the Alps to worldwide climbing expeditions to the Seven Summits.
Based in Switzerland, just a few kilometers from the French town of Chamonix, I offer customized programs, tailor-made for each of my clients. As an alpinist and mountain guide, I’ve participated in many succesful expeditions, including Mt. Everest (north and south sides), Cho Oyu and Shisha Pangma (Tibet), Aconcagua (Argentina), Yerupaja South Face and Huascaran (Peru), Ojos del Salado (Chile), Mt Hunter and Denali (Alaska), Elbrus (Russia) Carstensz Pyramid (West Papoua) and Kilimanjaro (Tanzania). I’ve led two UIAA expeditions for talented young climbers: one in China and one in Pakistan. Both were very successful and led to the opening of some new (and sometimes difficult) routes. I’m always looking for new and challenging ski areas and, in recent years, have specialized in ski safaris and ski touring in the Alps, Morocco, Canada, Chile and Scandinavia. Adventure skiing is my passion since a long time and the challenge is to find the best snow and safe skiing and have fun with the group in a remote location. A father of 2, in my spare time, I like to go skiing, mountain biking and climbing with friends and family.

My first proper ski touring trip and I didn’t really know what to expect...it was amazing In every respect. The scenery was stunning and accommodation perfect at MIT FabLab. Haakon looked after us at FabLab and Edward out on the mountain. I felt safe and exhilarated at the same time. The group were diverse with a sense of fun and a common interest in being out on the mountains. It really was a privilege for me to share the week with them. I look forward to another trip next winter. Bob

Fantastic trip with a great group! Edward made the most of the spring conditions. We were blessed with sunny days - touring in shorts and t-shirts. Beautiful views, skiing over fjords, after great ascents! Long descents, all in all an amazing week!!
