Description

The iconic peak of Mont Blanc towers above the rest of the Alps, dominating the skyline for miles.

Standing at 4,808 meters above sea level, it is the highest peak in the Alps as well as in Western Europe.

Sandwiched between the Italian Aosta Valley and the French regions of Savoie and Haute-Savoie, Mont Blanc is a world-class spot for outdoor sport.

The first recorded ascent dates back all the way to 1786, when Balmat and Paccard reached the peak in August. Herein lies the beginnings of modern mountaineering.

Follow in the footsteps of the great climbers and accompany me on a 5-day accent as we take some days to acclimatise.

The 5-day accent also gives us flexibility if the weather conditions are poor. So we’ll get 2 chances to reach the summit. If everything goes smoothly, then we’ll reach the summit on day 4.

Potential participants are required to have a good level of fitness, as well as being capable to train for 1-2 months prior to the trip.

Get in touch now to reserve your place on a 5-day ascent to the classic Mont Blanc.

Aspirant Guide

Originally from the Pyrenees, I have been climbing and skiing for as long as I can remember. The mountains are like a second home to me, I enjoy its silence and its stunnig nature.

Alpinism quickly developed into my passion and I dreamt of turning it into my full-time job. I moved to Grenoble in 2017 and passed the exam to enter guide´s training that same year. I am now an aspirant guide and would love to help you discover the mountains and all the activities that can be done there.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge. It gave us the confidence to later hire our own equipment and go out in Mojstrana. Altogether a five star + experience. Thank you.
