Experience the impressive Chamonix area on this incredible alpine climbing trip. This three-day adventure to the amazing Mont Blanc Massif is a must for all climbing fans. Join me to explore the beautiful French Alps.

This trip is designed so that you can get the most of this climbing experience, while enjoying the beautiful Chamonix landscapes and towns. All levels are welcome. Located in the border between France, Switzerland and Italy, this magical place is full of fun and exciting peaks. The Mont Blanc Massif offers several peaks including: Mont Blanc, Mont Maudit, Mont Blanc du Tacul, Aiguille du Midi, Aiguille du Plan and many others. We’ll design this trip depending on your skill level, goals and interests.

Make sure to bring a helmet, harnesses, rock climbing shoes, crampons and an ice axe, comfortable clothing, a waterproof jacket, sunscreen and sunglasses and a headlamp. For this overnight trip, I recommend a 55-60 liter pack and a sleeping bag. I am happy to provide you with a full list of all the items you should bring for your trip. Some of the items can be even rented at our offices.

Day 0: Meeting in Chamonix

We’ll meet at Chamonix to review itinerary, equipment and weather conditions.

Day 1: Hike-in and Climb

The first day will be spent mostly climbing and, a little, hiking. Dinner at Chamonix.

Day 2: Full climbing day

We’ll climb the whole day and sleep at a mountain hut.

Day 3: Last climb & tram back to Chamonix

Last climbing day from 7.30AM to 4.30PM. A little hike to get back to Chamonix.

About the guide

I am an IFMGA and ACMG-certified mountain guide based in Nelson, British Columbia. I'm the lead guide at Summit Mountain Guides, a guiding agency I co-founded back in 2007 and which offers year-round guiding services and courses in Canada and Europe.

The mountains of western Canada have been my playground since 1992. I'll be happy to take you mountaineering, backcountry skiing, rock climbing, hiking or ice climbing in this area I know so well. From day trips to multi-day adventures, I can guarantee an unforgettable and safe experience.
