Description

The Mont Rouge du Triolet is a beautiful peak in the equally beautiful Aosta Valley in the Alps of Italy.

This wonderful peak is a steep climb on solid granite. While it is not as difficult of some of the other peaks in the area, the Mont Rouge du Triolet can still be challenging. Hence all participants should have some prior climbing experience, and be in good physical shape. But if you meet that criteria, you are in for a treat because it is a fantastic climb.

The Aosta valley is a dream come true when it comes to admiring the Alps. And on this 2 day trek, you will get to soak in a great deal of it.

The first day of our journey will see us driving to the Val Ferret. From there, we will approach the Titani wall and make our way up the Mont Rouge du Triolet. We will take the popular Genepy route until we reach the Refuge Dalmazzi, where we will spend the night. The evening views, while completely different from daylight views, are just as spectacular, as the sunlight is replaced by the moon and starlight.

On the second day, we will leave the refuge and change routes as we scale the mountain. We will embark on the Cristallina route, which will allow you to continue enjoying great views, while pushing yourself physically. After we reach the Punta Centrale, we will then make our way back down this incredible peak.

The Mont Rouge du Triolet is a great climb, and doing it over 2 days just extends the fun. So if you want to indulge in an unforgettable trek in the famed Aosta valley, just send me a request.

We did a 1 day Ferrata with Marica. We've both never climbed a Ferrata before but we are both good hikers. We enjoyed our trip very much and you don't need to be a climber. Marica took good care of us and she is very informative with the local geography and history. We felt very safe with her. If you are traveling near the Dolomite and want to try something a bit out of your comfort zone, I highly recommend doing a ferrata especially with Marica. We did both ferrata ra gusela nuvolau and ferrata-averau. It took us about 6 hours.
