Mountain biking in the Ourimbah State Forest on the Central Coast is an enjoyable experience for everyone, and I will guide you as we wind our way around the many kilometres of biking trails available, from championship downhill tracks to single tracks and firetrails, whilst also taking the time to appreciate our tranquil surroundings in the idyllic and peaceful Australian bushland.
Ourimbah State Forest is located on the Central Coast of New South Wales, approximately 90km North of Sydney, and is renowned for having some of the best mountain biking conditions in the country, owing to its large space and variety of environments.
Once we meet we will dispense all relevant safety gear and information, before starting our mountain biking in earnest.
The abundance of trails caters to people of all levels of ability, from beginners to pro’s, meaning there is something for everyone.
Highlights include the wild and rollicking Downhill Course, the awesome single trail of The Valley, the firetrail of Jurassic Park, the aptly named Rollercoaster, and Demtel Hill.
I encourage everyone to take in and admire the scenery that we are riding through, as there are many native species of Australian flora and fauna in the forest, and the peace and quiet of the region is a rare treat away from the hustle and bustle of the cities.
We finish after biking for the whole day, weary and thrilled at having tackled such epic trails, and hopefully having enticed you to come back and experience more of this great part of Australia.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge. It gave us the confidence to later hire our own equipment and go out in Mojstrana. Altogether a five star + experience. Thank you.
