Multi-pitch rock climbing, North Japan Alps, 2-day traverse

On this 2 day multi-pitch rock climbing trip in the northern Japan Alps, you will get to do more than just scale beautiful walls. Instead, you will also get to explore a large portion of this gorgeous mountain range, as we traverse from Kotakigawa to Tsugami Shindo.

Our adventure will begin at 11:00 am, at either Kotaki station or on the JR Oito line. From there, we will make our way to the Japan Alps.

During our traverse you will get to climb on multi-pitch routes on the Kotakigawa Jade gorge. This glorious gorge offers a wonderful variety of walls to choose from. And based on your experience, conditions and your desires, we will choose the perfect one for you. After that, we will visit the Tsugami Shindo geopark. This sensational place is full of great climbing, as well as lush landscape that you can admire from up close and afar. Furthermore, this area stretches right to the sea, giving you an unforgettable view of the ocean.

When it comes to a memorable experience in the Japan Alps, this 2 day trip can’t be beat.
