Highlights

The Revelstoke resort, in British Columbia, has an air of Far West. It’s a simple location that doesn’t try to be hip. In fact, it’s perfect for people looking for a snow adventure.

But it’s not such a simple place. It’s the base of the Canada Avalanche Association. Some of the best ski and mountain guides have studied here. Besides, Revelstoke is the birthplace of heliski in Canada.

The Columbia river, crossing the village, separates Mont Monashee and Mont Selkirk, as a natural border between two kingdoms. These mountains are wild and natural. We find amazing powder there, as well as glaciers, rocks and forests.

From the summit at Revelstoke, you will marvel at the views over Columbia Valley. Each winter, the snowfall is of 12-18 meters. There are plenty of steep slopes. In fact, it’s a true mountain for experienced off-piste skiers.

We will leave for 10 days in total, of which we will enjoy 6 full ski days. It will be a great opportunity to explore the best spots of Revelstoke!

I really like this off-piste ski program because:
    – The snow quality is amazing, with powder from January to March
    – We ski in large forests, meaning that we can ski even in bad weather
    – Here we find the largest altitude change in all the North American resorts.

And if you want to try heliski, it’s also possible! I have not included it in the price, but I can make the arrangements if you wish.

Interested in making Revelstoke your next destination for an off-piste adventure? Then don’t hesitate to contact me! And another ski trip that I really like in North America is ski touring in Jackson Hole, check it out!

What People are Saying about Jean-Marc Kaufmann

Hello to all who like the intensity of amazing heights reached with sometimes a bit of sweat but so rewarding that the memories live in you year in or out. I travelled many times with Jean-Marc as guide. Heliskiing in Canada, Touring skiing (seals\' skin skiing) in Tromso, Spitzberg or more simply in ski resorts like France, Italy and Bulgaria. I recommend him for the complete trust in what he is sure I can do and his guiding ability on top of our sharing a good bear after the day\'s efforts (I am Belgian so ...). I even tried myself at 53 years\' old to a bit of climbing with \"Aiguille d\'Entrève\" and discovered a new ability. Great moments past and to come.
