Type of Trip
The wilderness surrounding Nelson is vast and beautiful. Getting to know some of its most remote spots is well worth it, however it does require proper guidance. On this overnight backpacking guided hike near Nelson you will get a chance to experience some stunning Canadian backcountry locations.
Because this excursion is open to all levels, we offer different options. For those looking for an easy hike we can show you around Peninsula Bay or Beatrice Lake, for example. Otherwise, if you are looking for something slightly more challenging, we can arrange the hike to the Kokanee Glacier Chalet and Glory Basin, amongst other possible destinations. Now if what you want is a more advanced excursion, you can pick from Gimli Ridge and Mulvey Basin or maybe a hike around Silverspray. Whichever your level and whichever your choice you will surely enjoy a wonderful experience out in the wilderness!
Keep in mind that although this backpacking trip is open to all levels, you will need a good level of fitness. We will spend long hours hiking, taking in the nature, and carrying packs. Of course, we will give you all the necessary suggestions and tips to make the load lighter. And, you will at all times have a guide to assist you and show the way!
