Follow me on this ski touring adventure and spend two wonderful days in the Panticosa-Wallon route on the border between Spain and France.

Situated in the Pyrenees, the Panticosa-Wallon is a circular route that goes from the famous spa resort Baños de Panticosa in Aragon to the Wallon refuge on the French side of the Pyrenees.

On the first day of the program, we’ll meet in Baños de Panticosa, at 1,637 meters above sea level. From this point, we’ll go to Coll de Brazatos (2,566 meters) and enjoy skiing. Then, we’ll reach Coll de Arratille (2,520 meters) and descend to the Wallon refuge (1,865 meters). Finally, on the second day, we’ll depart from the Wallon refuge to Puerto de Marcadau (2,541 meters) and enjoy the descent to Baños de Panticosa.

Take into account that we’ll face an elevation gain of 1,100 to 1,400 meters and spend 6-7 hours outdoors each day. Therefore, it is important to be physically fit and to have prior ski touring experience for this program.

So, if you find this ski tour exciting, all you have to do is send the request to book your place. I’ll be happy to guide you on this fantastic adventure in the Pyrenees!

Additionally, you can take a look at this ski touring program that I lead in Vall de Boi.

About the Guide

IFMGA/UIAGM Mountain Guide from Spain

Since a young age I lived surrounded by mountains and walls, out in nature. Mountaineering is part of my life from an early stage.

The search for new horizons and mountains made me discover many exotic destinations. I’ve done climbing and skiing expeditions to the Alps, Turkey, Jordania, Patagonia, Peruvian Andes, the Himalayas (India and Nepal). I’ve also opened new routes, both for rock climbing and for winter alpinism.

I’ve done high performance alpinism awarded by the FEEC (Federació d’Entitats Excursionistes de Catalunya). I was member of the Spanish Alpinism Team, the FEDME, from 2006 to 2008.

I became UIAGM mountain guide and canyoning guide to share my passion with all those who love doing activities in the mountains, either a fun canyon, challenging climbs, or white and lonely ski runs in remote mountains.
