Description

I invite you to join me on a 1-day easy climb to the Petit Mont Blanc (3424 m), from the Aosta Valley. This beautiful peak lies not too far from the famous Mont Blanc (4810 m), the highest mountain in the Alps.

The Petit Mt. Blanc is a perfect introduction to mountaineering and a great way to enjoy a day out in the mountains. The normal route is safe, easy and relatively short. Besides, it offers a spectacular panorama from the summit. This breathtaking view makes it one of the best and most accesible viewpoints in the area.

From the summit, we will be able to observe the wild east face of Mont Blanc, to the south towards the ridges of the northern Graian Alps and to the west over the Lex Blanche basin.

We transfer to the Val Veny and our adventure begins at the  Lago Combal (2051 m). A trail takes us to the bivouac Rainetto, at 3046 m. From that point, we will climb the snowy ridge, which finishes at a small high plateau. After some easy rock scrambling, we finally reach the summit and enjoy the amazing view.

The ascent and descent will take us in total about 7/8 hours. Please note I can take a maximum of 5 people per group.

Want to join me on this great day ascent to the Petit Mont Blanc? Then send me a request and start planning this enjoyable climb in the Alps!

We did a 1 day Ferrata with Marica. We've both never climbed a Ferrata before but we are both good hikers. We enjoyed our trip very much and you don't need to be a climber. Marica took good care of us and she is very informative with the local geography and history. We felt very safe with her. If you are traveling near the Dolomite and want to try something a bit out of your comfort zone, I highly recommend doing a ferrata especially with Marica. We did both ferrata ra gusela nuvolau and ferrata-averau. It took us about 6 hours.
