The pic du Midi de Bigorre is part of the French Pyrenees. It is a famous peak due to it has an astronomical observatory and a TV antenna in one of its slopes.
As well as those curious features, the pic du Midi de Bigorre has many other highlights that I want to tell you:
- Its high quality powder snow is really unique
- You can practice freeride skiing most part of the year
- Accommodation and people are very nice
So once I said that, I want to formally invite you to a 3-day guided freeride skiing tour in the magical pic du Midi de Bigorre. Are you coming with me?
Here you can read more details about this fantastic trip:
Our meeting point will be at the hotel. If you have no ski equipment you can rent it before the beginning of our free riding warm up. During this day we will ski in the great La Mongie, Cauterets Les and, of course, Pic du Midi. Dinner and night in the accommodation.
DAYS 2 AND 3
Depending on weather and snow conditions we can take a cable car and visit another higher pistes so that we can live more challenging freeride skiing experiences. We’ll spend 2 amazing days with lodging and dinner included.
Remember any item of the itinerary can be changed according to your level, time and wishes.
The only requirement is to have previous experience in all snow conditions and, of course, a good physical shape. You have to be able to ski 4 to 6 hours per day, short climbs on foot or skins but not exceeding 45 minutes per day.
