Puyehue National Park, Chile, 7 Day Splitboard Tour

A true adventure is how I would best describe this 7 day trip to the Puyehue National park in Chile.

On the very first day of this trip, you will get to relax in the warm water of a natural hot spring tub in a wonderful cabana near Aguas Calientes. As will be the case every night, in the cabana you will also get to enjoy some delicious local Chilean cuisine.

On the following day, we will explore the Casablanca volcano (1,990m). At this volcano, you will get to enjoy some wonderful runs before returning to the hot springs of your cabana. Afterwards, the real adventure begins!

With the help of horses, we will make our way from the beautiful jungle of the lake district of Chile to the Puyehue volcano. After ascending the volcano, you will then have the chance to ski down into its crater! After the thrilling crater experience, you will then get to ski down into the lava fields before we make our way to the El Caulle hut for the night. For the next few days, we will continue exploring all of the natural beauty of the Puyehue National park, while also enjoying some fantastic splitboarding and skiing runs before returning to the wonderful hot springs in Aguas Calientes for the final night. After that, we will transport you back to the airport in Osorno, where you will the make your way to Santiago and back home.

As beautiful and exciting as this trip is, it is also quite difficult. As a result, participants should be able to snowboard and ski at an advanced level. You should also be in very good physical condition.
