  • Capture the stunning views of the Swiss mountainside.

  • Benefit from having a fully-qualified guide with you in the Swiss Alps.

Overlooking the alpine villages of Grindelwald and Lauterbrunnen rises the world-class mountain of Eiger, which measures 3,967 meters above sea level.

Its 1,800-meter north face made of rock and ice is its most prominent feature, and is the biggest north face in the Alps.

Its world-class reputation makes it one of the most famous peaks in the world, and has enticed outdoor adventurers since all the way back in 1934, with the first attempted climb of the north face.

The striking peak holds a host of climbing routes, the easiest being the west ridge, which was actually first conquered in 1858.

Yet the imposing feature of the north face receives the most attention given its striking beauty. It was first summited in 1938 with numerous routes emerging all over the face. But for most climbers the classic route of 1938 is still the aspirational way.

All routes to the top are long, exposed and demanding. So you’ll certainly have to work hard to conquer the classic peak via the famous face that is technically very challenging.

Witness panoramic views that have come to crystalize the essence of the Swiss Alps, as you’re standing atop the Bernese Alps.

Get in touch now to reserve your place on a rock climbing trip to the top of the world-famous Eiger mountain via the classic north face.
