Description

Would you like to try rock climbing for the first time? And would you like to bring your children along with you? Then join me on this half day basic rock climbing kid-friendly program in the beautiful Lesachtal valley. I assure we will enjoy an unforgettable day!

We will meet at the parking lot of the farmers shops in Maria Luggau, a tiny village. Then, we will take our own car and drive to the Luggauer Valley. The parking lot is located right at the climbing rocks. Once there, I will give you the appropriate climbing equipment: belt, safety device and rope.

After we learn basic climbing movements without rope on small boulders, we will dedicate ourselves to the proper securing and abseiling. Under my guidance and control, you will climb with a rope on rock and boulders.

Besides, you will learn the right behavior on a fixed rope route on a small training trail. Finally, we will cross the Luggauer stream by a "flying fox" (ropeway). The program content is the following:

• Correct grasping and climbing
• Boulder excercises (on smaller boulders at the jumping height)
• Knots
• Proper backup
• Abseiling from a boulder block
• Tour of an adventure trail
• Flying Fox (ropeway) over the Luggauer stream

The program will take us in total about 4 to 5 hours. We will practice on the valley floor near the stream, where the terrain is flat. It's a perfect location for  children and adults, with space for relaxed playing and exploring. Also, it's a great place to enjoy a picnick!

Mountains, water, cultures have been always my passion. That’s why I’m a mountain, ski, canyoning and rafting guide, also a ski instructor and a snowboard enthusiast.

Helene and myself are the owners of the Hepi lodge. A space for mountaineers, climbers, skiing enthusiasts where besides offering the accommodation service we proposed varied programmes of different activities: rock climbing, ski touring, canyoning, hiking tours.

I guide most of my time in Lesachtal Valley: St Lorenzen, St Jakob, Birnbaum, Karnische Alps and Lienz Dolomites.

I love guiding people from all around the world and help them discover my region and its beauties doing what they like most! Feel free to contact me to discuss about your expectations and what I can offer you. We will share a great time together!

Climbing with guide Guillaume was absolutely a highlight of my 2-week Europe vacation. Originally, we were planning on climbing in the Calanques, but the park was closed due to wind and fire danger. Guillaume chose another amazing location (Pic de Bretagne) based on my climbing abilities and preferences and kindly offered train station pick-up and hotel drop off, which I appreciated very much. The multi-pitch route we did was not only fun but also the right amount of challenge, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The communication from the team (Gauthier) was prompt and clear—highly recommend!

Luis Silva was a great climbing guide and belayer! He taught me how to do moves that were difficult and encouraged me to try routes that were challenging for me! Because of his encouragement, I managed to complete these routes! I really enjoyed the climbs and completed 8 routes in the Sesimbra/Azoia area. The weather was perfect, no direct sun and cool enough to enjoy the climbs. Explore-Share made booking an outdoor climbing experience in Lisbon extremely easy. Luis, our guide, was fantastic, and the platform’s organization was flawless.

Patrick was a great guide. He took us on an intermediate Via Ferrata at Passo Sella. Renato was quick to respond with any outreach on the Explore-Share platform. The booking process was straightforward, and once Patrick was confirmed, all went well. It was a wonderful experience, and I’d highly recommend the platform.
