Calling all runners! Follow us for an exciting experience in Rio de Janeiro where we’ll show you all the best running spots in this Brazilian city and go through some iconic touristic attractions as well.
Rio de Janeiro is a stunning city by the Atlantic Ocean with perfect weather year round. It attracts tourists for its stunning beaches, colorful streets and fun festivities. It is also the land of outdoor sports: hiking, swimming, kayaking, paragliding, running, biking, and more! The Sugarloaf Mountain, Rio’s iconic landmark, can be accessed through a cable car from Morro da Urca with breathtaking 360°-views of all the Rio beaches, downtown Rio, Corcovado, Guanabara Bay, and others.
Our proposal is to go on a 9-kilometer run through some of the cultural and natural attractions of the city: Estácio de Sá, World War II Monument, Flamengo Park, the Tropical Central Park used by local runners and international events, and others. We’ll run 8 kilometers by asfalt and one kilometer ascending the Morro da Urca, just in time for sunset. There, you can choose to ride the cable car to the Sugarloaf (we strongly recommend it).
So, are you ready for an unforgettable run in Brazil? Then send your request! You’ll love it.
