Peruvian Cordillera Blanca offers us a lot of varied activities to enjoy its amazing mountains, its breathtaking landscapes and its crystalline lakes. And as if it isn’t enough, we have the opportunity of combining different mountains trails making them adaptable for any technical level. That’s why today I am proposing this 8-day expedition along The Santa Cruz Trek and then, an easy and non-technical climbing up to 5.752 meters high at Pisco summit.
During the trekking by Santa Cruz we have the challenge of hiking a high pass called Punta Union at 4750m from where you won’t believe what you are seeing.
Once we start our second stage of the trip, the ascent to Pasco peak, we may use some ice climbing gear such as crampons, rope, harness and ice axe to help to the climb it. But I can assure you this experience is not comparable with anything in life.
Keep reading the following itinerary to know more about this amazing expedition along one of the perfect mountainous places of the Peru Range.
