Would you like to enjoy an exciting Siberia ski touring adventure? Then join me on this amazing 9-day program in Luzhba.
Luzhba is a small train station in the middle of Siberia, where there are just a few huts surrounded by mountains that are covered with deep powder snow. The snowpack is protected from the wind by trees – mostly spruce, with some Siberian cedars and classic Russian Birch. Low temperatures and very little moisture keep the snow light and fluffy, perfect for ski touring adventures, like the one we will set on!
We will begin our program by meeting in Moscow. From there, we will transfer to Novokuznetsk and then to Luzhba, where we will spend 5 full days out on the slopes. Finally, we will return to Moscow. You can find a detailed itinerary below.
Please keep in mind that we will be skiing in a remote location, away from lifts and resorts. Therefore, we will have to skin up in order to ski down, and this will require you to have both a good fitness level and prior skiing experience. Of course, I will be there to help and guide you every step of the way.

Itinerary
Day 1: Novokuznetsk
Flight to Moscow city. Moscow – Novokuznetsk.
Day 2: Luzhba
Arrival in Novokuznetsk city, transfer to Mezdurechensk, and then transfer by suburban train to Luzhba. Ski tour to Luzhba hut. Transportation of luggage from the train station to
the hut by snowmobile.
Day 3 to 7: Ski touring fun
Everyday Ski tour/splitboarding – five full days, 2-4 runs.
Day 8: Novokuznetsk
1-2 morning runs. Return to
Novokuznetsk, overnight in hotel.
Day 9: Farewell
Transfer to airport, flight to Moscow, and then flight home.
