    YES! As you read before, I want to invite you to an interesting Ski & Alpinisme course in which you will learn and improve technical mountain skills.

    I offer a ski mountaineering course per year in a privileged mountain environment ideal for skiing activities. My goal in this course is to provide/improve your basics mountaineering skills  for then attempt to bigger objectives such as skiing in the highest world’s slopes.

    During these 2-days in Canada, we’ll enjoy the incredible and perfect setting for learning. Once the course finishes, you will go back home being capable of:

    • Understand how to use all the technical equipment necessary for this activity such as crampons, piolets, ice axes, etc.;
    • Understand the basics of using mountain ropes, depending on surfaces;
    • Identify a field that requires mountain techniques;
    • And also understand the ski mountaineering rules for a better and safer skiing.

    As a final point, participants must have prior skiing experience in varied terrain as well as an excellent physical condition. Additionally, I recommend to have done the Avalanche Safety Course.

    About the Guide


    It is at the Manoir du Lac-Sainte-Marguerite in Lucerne in the Laurentians north of Montreal where Philip in his first memory of old slides in 1986. Armed rental skis bought at the end of the season is great family adventure in winter sports. The station closed doors and the family migrated magestueux Mont Christi few winters. Another closure and the family is on the slopes of Mount Owls Head.C'est on these flanks Philip discovers the atmosphere of the ski race. It's really thanks to this team atmosphere that Philip survives a Bachelor of Administration at HEC Montreal where he gets entrepreneurship award. He then trained as avalanche forecaster and as a ski guide in western Canada. He goes skiing during the months of summers since 2001 in South America. More snow and skiing, it's the people that motivate Philippe.
