Would you like to spend one day on a ski mountaineering program in the Italian Alps? Then this adventure in the Upper Garda area is perfect for you! Come and discover a fantastic natural spot while you enjoy the view of a beautiful lake.

In the northern area of Italy, in the middle of the Alps, we’ll find Lake Garda, one of the most popular natural spots in the country. Between this lake and the mountains, we can find an amazing area to spend our day exploring and skiing.

One of the main attractions of the program will be Monte Baldo and its surroundings. The Monte Baldo massif is in the Brescia and Garda Prealps, in the Italian region of Lombardy. There, we’ll be able to enjoy fantastic powder snow and incredible landscapes with Lake Garda as the protagonist.

Although the difficulty level of this program is low, take into account that it’s important to have a good level of fitness. The duration of the trip will be of around 6-7 hours.

Don’t miss this fantastic opportunity in the Upper Garda area. Send the request and book your place on this ski mountaineering program in Italy. You won’t regret your choice!

Additionally, I lead the following snowshoeing program also near Lake Garda. Check it out!

About the Guide

Certified mountain and ski guide and is directing since 15 years the Mountain School Mmove (former Friends of Arco). In the past, his passion had driven him for weeks to the solitude of the Alps, of Patagonia, or of the icy heights of the Karakorum to climb famous walls and peaks and open up new routes.

Today his priorities have moved. He wants to share his enthusiasm for the mountains - while working with his guests and in his spare time with his sons, as his father has once done with him. Mauro Girardi is very proud on its enthusiastic and highly qualified team of local Mountain-and Ski Guides, Hiking Guides and office employees. Mmove is not just a mountain school, but is a steadily growing circle of friends, who would like to realize great experiences. We like to Mmove it !!

Mmove is the only mountain school in the Alto Garda region with a guaranteed weekly program and activities for all tastes and the whole family.

The team is formed by 8 IFMGA/UIAGM Guides, so if Mauro is not available, one of the other highly qualified members of the team will be the guide.

What People are Saying about Mauro Girardi

My son and I were planning a trip to climb in Arvo, Italy and wanted a good start to our trip so we booked a guide with Explore-share.com, and it was the best thing we did. Lupe and the staff handled every inquire we had, were really professional then ended up hooking us up with MMove based in Arco. We booked a private guide for 3 days of rock climbing and we boosted our grades in those days. Our guide Matteo was bloody awesome, amazing guide who just gets that little bit more out of your. Our grades jumped thanks to Matteo. Day 1 was sport climbing to check what we could do, single pitches and going hard. The afternoon was a multi pitch. Then for day 2 and 3 we pumped out multi pitch after multi pitch. Best 3 days of climbing in a long time. My Son went from grade 15/16 to leading 23\'s. This 3 days started our trip and gave us the confidence to go on climbing for another 2 weeks. Thanks guys for an amazing wicked time We will be back soon
