Description

The largest city on the northern Japanese island of Hokkaido, Sapporo is a beautiful place. Filled with a number of amazing sights, all of which are well worth visiting, it is a fantastic place to take a trip. And on this excursion, I would like to suggest adding some outdoor, winter fun to your trip in the form of a full day skiing adventure. And to make that trip even better, you will get to ski with a freeride world qualifier skier who is also the eleventh ranked skier in all of Japan!

There are several great places to go for great skiing in Sapporo. And I am familiar with most, if not all of them. As a result, I will gladly help you choose the right one that fits your skills and preferences. And once we get to the selected area, we can have a great time skiing together, enjoying the lovely powder. Throughout the day, I can also offer you advice and tips on how to improve your skills as well.

In order to participate on this trip, you should be able to ski at an intermediate level.

Please note that you will need to sign a liability waiver prior to the beginning of the trip. Also, for safety and liability reasons, we will stay within ski resort boundaries at all times.

I grew up skiing and consider both the local Kokusai Ski Resort, as well as Keystone Ski Resort in Colorado, USA, as my home base. Nowadays, I am a Freeride World Tour qualifier who is currently ranked eleventh in Japan.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice.
