Terskey Ala-Too range 9-day ski touring traverse

Join me on this amazing 9-day ski touring traverse in the Terskey Ala-Too range in Kyrgyzstan. Also called Terskey Alatau, this range is part of the Tian Shan mountains.

Ski touring through this spectacular mountains is a perfect opportunity to discover breathtaking landscapes and incredible powder! Also, to discover the spirit of the Kyrgyz Mountains and the hospitality and unique culture of the Kyrgyz people.

The Terskey Ala-Too has an extensión of 354 km and its highest mountain is the Karakol Peak (5216 m). The Boris Yeltsin Peak (5168m) is another high peak of the range.

During our traverse, we will spend some nights at the Karkara camp in cottages and also in a Yurta camp. We will sleep inside these hand-built yurts, made according ancient traditions.

I will take you on incredible ski tours across the Charkuduk pass to the Tup Valley and also to the Tuz Valley. On our last night in Bishek we will also enjoy a delicious farewell dinner. You can check the day-by-day itinerary below this description.
