Terskey Alatau, Kyrgyzstan, 9 Day Guided Skiing

The Tian Shan mountains are as amazing as they are expansive. Stretching through a great deal of central Asia, this mighty mountain range has a vast, magical aura to it. Thus earning the translation of its name, Heavenly Mountain. As a result of the Tian Shan mountains' size, there are several smaller ranges found within it. The Terskey Alatau is one such range.

Located in Kyrgyzstan, the Terskey Alatau range is a stunning stretch of peaks that are just begging to be explored. And on this 9 day trip, you will have ample opportunity to traverse a great deal of the range. You will also have the added bonus of traversing it on skis, as this is a cross country skiing adventure.

There are several highlights to this trip, including the Charkuduk pass (2,875m), and the Tup and Karkara valleys.  We will make our way through a large portion of the range during the days, while comfortably resting in full board accommodations in either a cottage or a Yurta, which is a portable round tent. And there is no need to worry about dragging around your equipment either because it will be transported by snowmobile!

Cross country skiing is a fantastic activity. However, spending 9 days doing it in a place as beautiful and unique as the Terskey Alatau range in the Tian Shan mountains makes it spectacular. So if you would like to join me, please send me a request.
