I propose a 10-day heliski program in one of the most spectacular places in Asia: The Tian Shan mountains. It is located at the border between Kyrgyzstan, China and Kazakhstan. It has mountains over 7000 meters high.
The Tian Shan range is the fifth highest mountain range in the world. It has a unique flora and fauna which makes it environment a really interesting place. Indeed, it has many natural reserves that protected its naturals resources. Additionally, It highest peak is the Jengish Chokusu with 7439 meters high.
Due to the weather, the best conditions for skiing in this region goes through June and July. Further, there are snow fall every afternoon, so we’ll start each day early in the morning.
During the program, skiing will be our main activity but we’ll also discover the local culture and enjoy the amazing views offered by this important mountain range.
We will be based in Maida Adyr village, in a mountaineer camp. It lies in the valley of the Inichek river, offering comfortable rooms and a complete kitchen. Meals are tasty and we’ll appreciate specialties of Kyrgyzstan.
