The steep cliffs and heavy glaciers offer an impressive and fascinating experience in the Swiss mountains.

The Todi is a mountain massif that reaches a peak of 3,613 meters at the Piz Russein, the highest point in the whole of the Glarus Alps.

Located on the border between the cantons of Glarus and Graubünden in the central region of Switzerland, the Glarus Alps are part of the larger Western Alps.

If you’re an ambitious skiers and searching for fresh snow rewards, then join me as we first take the car to Tierfehd. If the weather is good, then we’ll glide on our skis to Hintersand.

Then we’ll continue on towards the Biferten Glacier, a 4-kilometer long glacier that rests along the east slopes of Todi.

As we reach the higher sections of the mountains, the sun will seem brighter and warmer, motivating us towards the final few meters.

After a deserving break and taking in the wonderful panoramic views, we’ll turn around and make a racy descent back down to Hintersand.

Then we’ll glide comfortably down to Tierfehd while witnessing great views of the steep valley.
