Description

I have prepared a course that will allow you to run on beautiful Alpine routes to discover this sport, improve your skills or to begin better the next season…in the amazing landscapes of Chamonix and its surroundings.

You’ll be guided by a mountain guide with a great experience (I won many trails including Tor des Géants) and perfect knowledge of the Mont-Blanc and its many trails.

Your trip will take place over two or three days in the Mont Blanc country and you will discover the most beautiful trails around Chamonix.

This type of training is open to all, daily distances and altitude changes are adjusted according to the level of the group of participants and their experience.

During these three days, I will share my passion for the trail, reveal my many anecdotes lived on these ultratrails and I’ll take you on trails that I know as the back of my hand.

Here are three training day proposals :

Day 1: The Balcony of the Mont-Blanc

(Distance and altitude change according to the group level)

On that first day, we will discover the most beautiful trails in Chamonix with an ascent towards the village of Argentiere, then we will climb toward the Mer de Glace to finish by crossing under the famous Aiguilles of Chamonix.

Day 2 : Val Montjoie

(Distance and altitude change according to the group level)

During this second stage, we leave the Chamonix valley to go to a part of the tour of Mont Blanc. From the village of Contamines, we will explore Tricot pass and the beautiful little village of Miage, located at the foot of the peaks.

Day3 : Les Aiguilles Rouges

(Distance and altitude change according to the group level)

During this last day we will go through the final part of the Mont-Blanc Ultra Trail  (c) in the nature reserve of the Aiguilles Rouges. The view of all the mythical mountains of the Chamonix valley is wonderful and after a beautiful descent from the Flégère we will finish our training in Chamonix.

This program is given as an example. I can adapt it based on your level in trail running, your wishes and the time you have. We can also run together for one day. My daily guiding fee is 425 CHF / 385€. We can also go to Switzerland and run together in my home valley in Valais.

I invite you to contact me if you want to train in the Chamonix area. We will have the opportunity to discuss about your level and what kind of training you wish.
