Description

Myself and our expert team will lead you on this truly epic and awesome day of rafting and wilderness adventure, where we will not only raft down the Colorado River, visit historical mining cabins and relax and swim in the multitude of swimming holes available, but we will also bear witness to some of the most magnificent and pleasing scenery and wildlife that Colorado has to offer, all near the quaint town of Vail.

Vail is located 100 miles from Denver in Colorado, and is a renowned outdoor activity destination in both winter and summer. Numerous festivals call Vail home throughout the year, hence it is a busy and bustling place for a lot of the time, without losing its laid-back and elegant charm.

Meeting in the morning, where relevant safety information and equipment will be dispensed, we then head off whitewater rafting as soon as possible.

The route we will take allows us to wind our away down the Colorado River amongst some astonishing environments, as the majestic Rockies loom high above us, before giving way to gorgeous meadows, valleys and canyons.

There are a myriad of opportunities to visit some of the remaining historical mining cabins along the banks of the river, and we will stop often for some refreshing swims in the idyllic and crystal clear swimming holes dotted around.

If all the whitewater rafting gets a bit exhausting, you are free to switch to one of our inflatable duckies, ensuring you can have relax and have fun on these toys to recover from your exertions.

After about 5 hours, including a lunch break for us to eat on the side of the river, we head back to the start point having had an exciting and exhilarating time, and hopefully having made you fall in love with Colorado even more.

This day of whitewater rafting will leave you thrilled and wanting more – book now to experience!

Guide cancelled within 48 hrs and I was unable to find someone else and so far I’ve not been refunded. Put a small dent in my otherwise great trip to Revelstoke.

Guide was very experienced and very patient with us. We learned alot and he tried to fit in all the knowledge he could in one day, super awesome. A little tough going back and forth to get the trip set up hard to tell if the site is sketchy until you see reviews but all worked out. Ended up with an awesome day with an awesome guide. Overall pretty satisfied and thankful!

Nate was very knowledgeable and got me to the top of mountain. He’s not as engaging as most of the guides I’ve had over the years. I’ve learned a lot about most of my climbs as guides talk about the mountain and the area maybe even plant and animals and I enjoy getting to know them better. We did talk a bit more on the way out of the trailhead. All in all a good experience. But not sure your company told him I had a knee replacement and would be slow.
