Today I come to propose you the best via ferrata options in Girona.
Girona is a Spanish city located in the Autonomous Community of Catalunya. I think this Mediterranean region has the perfect gorges for the practice of via ferrata. That’s why I have prepared some itineraries in Girona with different grades of difficulty.
Please find here below all the proposals and chose the one you most like.
It is a via ferrata especially suitable for people who want to start in this activity. This itinerary passes by the Romanya stream and ends in Salto del Lobo. The total duration of this program is 3-4 hours. Moreover, it does not involve any technical and physical difficulty.
In my opinion, it’s the most beautiful via ferrata route on the Costa Brava. That is because of its privileged location on the Mediterranean Sea, which makes it unique. It consists of two sections, one of initiation and another more demanding. The difficulty level is K1/K2 (in a range from K1 to K6) with a low physical effort. The total duration will be around 3-4 hours.
It is a via ferrata itinerary especially indicated for athletes and advanced climbers. This route has several crashes, long side steps and a 68-meter Nepalese bridge. The duration is 4-5 hours and the difficulty grade reaches the K3/K4 scale (in a range from K1 to K6).
These via ferrata programs in Girona will be run from April to October. So, once you decide your perfect itinerary, please get in touch with me and book your place. It will be a great and unforgettable experience. I’ll be happy to help you in this new challenge!
