Ski touring ascent in Wildspitze, Austria

2 Great days with Mathias. He was awesome with our group that had mixed ability and ages 11-60+. And he was terrific at planning another full day with 11-18 year old kids who had an awesome adventure. Thanks Mathias.

The pricing system was not really user friendly. Still I have a positive feedback in the website. The link was sharable with the group, everything in one place with booking code as reference. It was a positive experience for me. I'm happy. It was even easy to organise it for the others.

Georg is an extremely knowledgable ski guide who is qualified as both a mountain guide and a top level ski instructor so perfect for getting you going in the off piste or taking the more experienced to a new level. He also speaks perfect English.

George was an excellent guide and all of us were very happy about his skills and consistency! We have recommended him to other friends! Thank you we will be back!

My guide ended up being a local snowboard guide named Peter. It was excellent. Lovely guy, we got to ride some powder as well as practice searching with the avalanche rescue equipment. All round good day. Would highly recommend

We had a wonderful day skiing down to Fiberbrunn with our guide Mathias Leo. He found deep light powder snow. The snow was unexpectedly good considering it had not snowed for many weeks! It is only guides with the best knowledge that can find good conditions long after the last snow fall. The smiles remained on our faces the whole day :) Henrik

Really enjoyed a day of off piste with Mathias. We were lift-serviced with some short hikes and traverses and found plenty of fresh powder! If you are honest about what you want, and your group's abilities, then Mathias will create an experience that works!

I found Explore Share an excellent service in locating me a local alpine guide, who in turn tailored for me a brilliant 4 days mountaineering in Austria. Many thanks to Lupe for all her assistance in organising my guide and Mathias for his expert & personable guidance in the Austrian Alps.

Mathias took us on a slightly different trip more catered to rock climbing. It was exactly what we were looking for! We did a one day multi pitch climbing course and then a one day mountain ascent. I'd highly recommend Mathias if you're looking for an adventure in Austria.

Great experience! My only suggestion would be to specify better the equipment needed (e.g. when booking on the website it was mentioned "the guide has all needed safety equipment", but after booking the guide then specified you needed to provide your own skins for the crosscountry walking etc., which was news to us). The rest was perfect!

Super day! we skied untracked snow all day. Mathias managed to plan the trip just up to our skill level. And that’s is what you get from a good guide, he have to quickly find the right level for the group. Made the day wery exiting but safe. We did a lot of steep skiing and some steep booting but felt safe all day. We used skins to get the best areas, and some booting with ski on backpack. Recommended to get to the best areas! Our best reviews for Mathias!

This was our first time climbing in the alps, only did lower peaks in Sweden before. Mathias did a great job, everything felt extremely safe, and we still managed to do it in good time. We'll definitely be calling him for next year's trip!

My two days of rock climbing with Mathias were amazing! I am not a very good rock climber, but Mathias was very patient, always super helpful and encouraged me to get better and better. He took me to great spots for climbing routes that were doable but not easy for me and I felt very safe at every moment. He is also just a super nice and patient guy and I would go climbing with him again anytime!

I would like to drop a note saying how amazing of a time I had climbing with Mathias. Coming from the United States all I asked was for a true Austrian Alps climbing experience. The first day we spent multi-pitch sport climbing up to grade UIAA 6+. Such and amazing day on bullet proof limestone.  The second day I got to experience alpine climbing that started with a two hour hike up a hanging glaciated valley to one of the classic routes.  I highly recommend arranging a climbing trip with Mathias. I will guarantee you will be exhausted at the end of each day with a huge smile on your face.  It was truly an experience of a life time and next time I am in Austria I will be booking another adventure with this group.
