Description

Discover a fantastic part of the Rockies with this snowshoeing program. You can choose between a full-day (6 to 8 hours), or a half-day (3 to 4 hours) program. For this tour, I will also customize the itinerary to meet your goals! Join me for a fantastic time at the heart of the Wasatch Mountains.

To begin the program we will generally meet 8 am at either of these locations: Big or Little Cottonwood Park and Ride Lot, Alta or Brighton.

If you’d like, we can also include the ascent of an accessible peak close to our location. This is a great way of getting a privileged view of the surrounding mountains and valleys.

This is a non-technical tour, so no previous experience is necessary.

I will provide part of the equipment including: snowshoes, trekking poles, shovel and probe (if necessary), and beacon.

On the other hand, you will need to bring along: insulating boots, appropriate winter clothes, water, snacks and lunch (if you choose the full-day program), among other specifics I will share with you (see more details below).

For this program I will take groups of up to 6 guests. This program is available from early December to late April.

The prices above are for the half-day program (3 to 4 hours). The prices per person for the alternative full-day program (6 to 8 hours) are: for a group of 1, $395 | for a group of 2, $275 | for a group of 3, $225 | for a group of 4, $200 | for a group of 5, $175 | for a group of 6, $150. All prices are per person. Prices don't include a 6.85% tax.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge.
