In the region of Veneto, in northeastern Italy, we find some of the most stunning mountainous landscapes of the country. The Dolomites have over 600 via ferrata routes traversing the impressive walls. They were built during World War I and are nowadays a fantastic and safe way to explore these mountains. Whether you go only for via ferrata or combine it with hiking, you will get fully immersed into the environment. Punta Anna, Monte Paterno and Punta Fiammes are just some of the destinations, but browse the options below to choose your next trip! Explore-Share only promotes mountain trips led by certified guides.

I was a bit upset the night before the climb to find my guide was I'll and asked another guide to take his place. His father Renato Bernard was excellent and I had a wonderful climb and day. Fantastic!

Etienne was a fantastic guide. Very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We did a one day beginner level trip on the via ferrata. Etienne extremely knowledgeable of the history, geography, and culture of the area. I would highly recommend Etienne for anyone from novice beginners to advanced experts.

My husband and I had a wonderful time with Etienne. Not only did we have a lot of fun but he also made sure that we completed the via ferrata safely. Highly recommend!

Our excursion landed on a rainy day and Etienne was great at suggesting alternative options in light of the weather. We ended up having a lot of fun despite the rain and having lunch with locals is a great travelling experience in itself! Thanks to Etienne and Fernando for a great day!

Etienne was very accommodating and adjusted to our skill level. We didn't do the Monte Paterno via ferrata because we were too tired from the day before, so Etienne took us on an easier via ferrata which had a tunnel from WWI.
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures.
