More info about Water Sports in Bolivia:

La Paz is the highest capital city in the world at 3.650 meters above sea level. Many of the local trips take you even farther into the mountains. Therefore it is good to arrive a few days prior to your trip in order to acclimatize. While you’re doing this, explore the incredibly scenic and increasingly modern capital. Lake Titicaca and Copacabana are right nearby and are also quite popular. Bolivia has some fairly strict visa rules. Be sure to check with your government’s foreign ministry to see whether you need to apply for a visa prior to arrival. Once everything is sorted out, get ready for your adventure to this truly unique country. Enjoy your time hiking, biking and climbing your way through all the canyons in this mountainous nation
