Der Gaisstein-Gipfel, der bis auf 2363 Meter ansteigt, ist der höchste Gipfel in den östlichen Kitzbüheler Alpen. Er ist in Österreich berühmt für die atemberaubenden Aussichten vom Gipfel. Und im Winter und Frühling ist er ein großartiges Ziel für Skitouren!

Tatsächlich schlage ich Ihnen hier ein Skitourenprogramm am Gaisstein vor. Wir starten von Suhlfelden Sonnberg. Dann gehen wir in Richtung Mühltagraben. Wir erreichen die Leitscharte, indem wir durch sanfte Wiesen fortschreiten. An diesem Punkt tragen wir unsere Skier für das letzte Stück bis zum Gipfel. Wie ich bereits sagte, ist das Panorama vom Gipfel mehr als lohnenswert!

Und dann bleibt nur noch, die Abfahrt zu genießen. Wir nehmen eine etwas andere Route als beim Aufstieg.

Der Aufstieg (D+ 1200m) dauert ungefähr 4 Stunden. Sie müssen in guter Verfassung sein, um dies zu bewältigen, und sich beim Skifahren auf jedem Gelände wohlfühlen.

I am a IFMGA certified mountain guide and a climbing lover. I grew up in a small farm in Mittersiller Sonnberg. My parents used to show us the beauty of our mountains. When I was 10 years old I went ski touring for the first time and I really loved it. The next years, I started climbing walls which really fascinated me. I also participated in many competitions.

My career took me to Hohe Tauern National Park where I finished the ranger training to bring visitors to the beauties of my country.

In 2013, I got my official certificate as a mountain guide and ski instructor. A dream came true! Since 2014, I have been working a full time guide, guiding in different areas such as Ortler, Valais, Dolomites, Wilder Kaiser, Muztagh Ata (China)... and of course, in some of our famous mountains such as Großvenediger and Großglockner.

Climbing with guide Guillaume was absolutely a highlight of my 2-week Europe vacation. Originally, we were planning on climbing in the Calanques, but the park was closed due to wind and fire danger.
