Beschreibung

Der Watzmann (2713 m) befindet sich in den Bayerischen Alpen südlich des Dorfes Berchtesgaden. Tatsächlich ist er der zweithöchste Gipfel Deutschlands. Es dauert 2 Stunden Fahrt von München, um den Ausgangspunkt der Wanderung zu erreichen.

Wir lieben es, dort von Juli bis September zu führen und unsere Freunde und Kunden an diese fantastischen Orte zu bringen. Wir genießen diese Wanderung besonders, weil:
– Die Aussicht auf den Watzmann ist großartig, jeden Tag ein bisschen anders, da wir um ihn herum wandern;
– Es ist ein sehr wildes Gebiet, in dem die Natur noch erhalten ist;
– Man fühlt sich völlig abgeschaltet, wenn man dorthin geht. Es gibt kein WLAN!;
– Es ist eine gute Mischung in Bezug auf die natürliche Umgebung, in den ersten Tagen im Wald und langsam die alpine Flora erreichend;
– Die Atmosphäre in den Berghütten ist sehr einladend und schön. In einigen von ihnen fühlt man sich wie vor Hunderten von Jahren. Einige sind wirklich charmant. Außerdem essen wir sehr gut!

Der Ausgangspunkt ist in Wimbachbrücke, das Tor zum Nationalpark Berchtesgaden. Während 7 Tagen werden wir um den Watzmann wandern, zuerst hinauf und dann hinunter, was es uns ermöglicht, in den letzten Tagen von unten den Weg zu sehen, den wir vor ein paar Tagen genommen haben.

Wir wandern durchschnittlich 5 Stunden am Tag und versuchen, morgens zu wandern, damit wir es nachmittags ruhig angehen lassen können. Dann ruhen wir uns in der Hütte aus, schwimmen in einem der nahegelegenen Seen, machen kleine Wanderungen um die Hütte, machen Fotos, spielen Karten im Schutzhaus…

I am working together with Laura Carmona González, we both were born in Spain and now we are living in the north of the Black Forest in Germany, close to the German Alps and the Vosges in France. Now I am going to tell you something else about myself.
I was born in Spain in a small village between Toledo and Madrid, nearby the Spanish Central Mountain Range. I have been living for some years in Scotland, New Zealand and 8 years in Germany. Spanish is my mother tongue and I talk fluent English and German as well as a bit of French.
I am qualified trekking, MTB and horse riding guide as well as Black Forest Middle-North Natural Park Guide - Schwarzwald Guide. Two years ago I finished my qualification as a Mountain Leader UIMLA.
Nature and mountains are a very important thing for me from long time ago, that is why I decided to take this hobby as my profession. I have worked more than fifteen years as a trekking, MTB and horse riding guide for many companies and travel agencies in different countries in the world.

Trabajo conjuntamente con mi compañera Laura Carmona González, ambos somos españoles y ahora vivimos en el norte de La Selva Negra en Alemania, cerca también de los Alpes alemanes y los Vosgos franceses. A continuación voy a contarte más cosas acerca de mí mismo, para que puedas conocerme un poco mejor.
Nací en un pequeño pueblo entre Toledo y Madrid, cercano las montañas del Sistema Central español. Viví un par de años en Escocia y Nueva Zelanda y llevo ya más de 8 años en Alemania. Mi lengua materna es el español, hablo fluidamente inglés y alemán y me defiendo con el francés.
Soy guía titulado en España de media montaña, bicicleta de montaña y rutas a caballo, además soy guía oficial del Parque Natural de La Selva Negra en Alemania y hace dos años que finalicé mi titulación como guía internacional de media montaña y actividades con raquetas de nieve UIMLA.
La naturaleza y las montañas son una de mis pasiones desde hace mucho tiempo y es por eso por lo que un día decidí transformar mi pasión en mi profesión. He trabajado como guía más de quince años para varias agencias y empresas de trekking en más de diez diferentes países alrededor del mundo.

Climbing with guide Guillaume was absolutely a highlight of my 2-week Europe vacation. Originally, we were planning on climbing in the Calanques, but the park was closed due to wind and fire danger. Guillaume chose another amazing location (Pic de Bretagne) based on my climbing abilities and preferences and kindly offered train station pick-up and hotel drop off, which I appreciated very much. Because of his encouragement, I managed to complete these routes! I really enjoyed the climbs and completed 8 routes in the Sesimbra/Azoia area.
