Die in den Provinzen Tirol und Salzburg gelegenen Kitzbüheler Alpen in Österreich sind eine wunderbare Gebirgskette. Es gibt eine Menge, die ein Besucher dieser großartigen Ansammlung von Gipfeln tun kann, das ganze Jahr über. Ob Sie sich für Klettern und Wandern oder für eine Via Ferrata interessieren, dies ist ein großartiger Ort, um es zu genießen. Es gibt eine Reihe spektakulärer Gipfel in dieser etwa 80 Kilometer langen Gebirgskette. Und während dieser Reise haben Sie vielleicht sogar die Chance, auf einem von ihnen Ski zu fahren. Einige Beispiele für diese Gipfel sind der Wildseeloder (2.118m), das Kitzbüheler Horn (1.996m), der Gratlspitz (1.899m) und der höchste Berg der Kette, das Kreuzjoch (2.558m).

I'm a passionate Rock & Ice climber, Alpinist and Backcountry skier for more than 10 years... My climbing trips took to many regions of the Alps, North&South America, Norway and to the Karakoram/Pakistan.

I live near Kitzbühel, a small village in Tyrol/Austria, among other things known for the world-famous downhill-ski-race and the beautiful mountains.

Since 2017, I have made my hobby into a profession and work as a mountain guide - I love guiding my guests on classic mountaineering routes, on beautiful rock climbs, on skis through the wintery mountains and on steep ice routes, especially in my beautiful home mountains.

In summer, we have the famous mountain range of the "WILDER KAISER" with many climbs in all levels of difficulty almost on the doorstep, also the snow-covered 3.000m-peaks of the "HOHE TAUERN" such as "Grossglockner" (highest peak of Austria) and the "Grossvenediger" are not far away...

In winter, the "KITZBÜHELER ALPEN" around the village of Kitzbühel offer great freeriding & skitouring in a magic winter-landscape, as well as countless possibilities for ice climbing.

Climbing with guide Guillaume was absolutely a highlight of my 2-week Europe vacation. Originally, we were planning on climbing in the Calanques, but the park was closed due to wind and fire danger. Guillaume chose another amazing location (Pic de Bretagne) based on my climbing abilities and preferences and kindly offered train station pick-up and hotel drop off, which I appreciated very much.
