Ascenso Guiado del Monte Fuji en Primavera

Monte Fuji (3,776m) es el pico más alto de Japón. También se utiliza a menudo como un símbolo del país.

Aunque es más popular escalarlo en verano debido a las mejores condiciones climáticas, en este viaje, escalarás el Monte Fuji en la primavera. Durante la primavera, en la cima de la montaña, las temperaturas pueden bajar hasta -20 grados, y los vientos a veces pueden alcanzar 100km/h. Así que, aunque la escalada en sí no es técnicamente difícil, tendrás que estar adecuadamente preparado para las frías condiciones. Por lo tanto, también deberías tener experiencia previa en montañismo invernal antes de ir a esta escalada.

Hay dos rutas posibles para la escalada. Ambas son rutas de 2 días. Son la ruta clásica y la ruta Gotenba. La ruta clásica, que es menos extenuante, comienza en la estación Kawaguchiko. Desde allí conduciremos hasta Fujiyoshida Umagaeshi (1,430m). Después ascenderemos hasta el refugio Sato (2,230m), donde pasaremos la noche. El segundo día, subiremos a la cima antes de volver a bajar y regresar a la estación Kawaguchiko vía Fujiyoshida Umagaeshi. La ruta Gotenba también comienza en la estación Kawaguchiko, donde te alojarás en un hotel cercano durante la noche. Al día siguiente, temprano en la mañana, conduciremos hasta la quinta estación de Gotenba (1,440m). Desde allí haremos nuestro ascenso a la cima del Monte Fuji antes de regresar bajando el mismo día y volver al hotel por la noche.

Los participantes deben tener o alquilar chaqueta/pantalón de Goretex, botas de montañismo de invierno, piolet, crampones y casco. En abril, el refugio Sato no abrirá a menos que haya más de 5 personas en su interior. Si ese es el caso, se tomará la ruta Gotenba, que requiere un nivel de aptitud física más alto y tiene un precio diferente. Si no tienes mucha experiencia en montañismo invernal, también ofrezco un curso de montañismo invernal de un día que te preparará adecuadamente para la ruta clásica.

I was born in Hakuba village in Nagano, Japan, to a family of ski instructors and mountain guides. Through my childhood, I'd been active in skiing and all mountain activities, and competed in alpine skiing until graduation from high school. I then travelled to the French alps where I spent the next 5 years learning the skiing and mountain guiding techniques and skills. During my stay, I also worked as a ski instructor in Chamonix, France and upon my return to Hakuba, taught at Iwatake ski school as well as coached the Alpine ski racing team at a high school.

I am an IFMGA guide and my climbs abroad extends from notable peaks in Europe, Africa, South America, Nepal, South Korea, Thailand, and also a first ascent (named Mt Ashura) in China.

I am also a member of Nagano mountain rescue, as well as participate in development of new mountain guides and new mountain gears.
Currently based in Hakuba village, my guiding encompasses high altitude mountaineering abroad, and ski instructing, backcountry ski guiding, free climb guiding, and ice climbing guiding domestically.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice.
