I was born and live in Ushuaia, the southernmost city in the world! I've been skiing since I was 2 years old, and competed as a ski athlete in a Nordic ski and Biathlon world ski championships, world cups and in the winter Olimpic Games Torino 2006

In 2007 I retired from professional competitions to focus on my guiding career. I trained on rock, ice and mixed climbing skills as well as guiding techniques and became a mountain guide in 2011 at the Argentinean Mountaineering Guides Association (AAGM). In 2017 I completed the guiding courses to become also a certified Ski Mountain Guide GEM-AAGM.

I've done a large number of technical climbs at the Darwin Range and Patagonia while many of those are new lines

Marine was a really wonderful guide and she made the 3 day trek around Tierra del Fuego a great pleasure for us. She is very knowledgable and a very professional guide. Marine also helped us with renting clothes that we needed and went the extra mile to make sure we had everything we would need. I would definitely recommend this trek as well as Marine and Seba. Facundo was amazing! I have some climbing experience and my partner had never climbed before. Similarly, my partner speaks Spanish but I only speak English. Facundo not only guided us expertly through several routes but also taught us a lot about Ushuaia. The experience does involve a 20-30 minute hike to the climbing location so be prepared for a trek. But it was a fantastic experience and highly recommend being able to say you climbed in Patagonia :)
