The Coast Mountains, in British Columbia, are home to Mount Waddington. It is indeed one of the most captivating and storied mountains in this region. Rising to 4019 m, its ascent is as demanding as for any other great peaks in the world. You need to have the skills, and to be prepared for it.
William House and Fritz Wiessner ascended it for the first time in 1936.
I propose to you here a 2-week itinerary. The goal is of course the summit of Mount Waddington, and we will take the NW summit. It is a true challenge, but it’s so rewarding!
Climbing Mount Waddington is a serious business. A true expedition due to the altitude, terrain, weather and exhaustion that we have to endure.
