    Are you considering in doing an Advanced Avalanche Training? Find here an ideal program for snowboarders and backcountry skiers!

    At this time, I propose the CSA 2. It is an advanced course in which we’ll learn about taking decisions in avalanche conditions. It’s an additional Avalanche course for snowboarders and backcountry skiers that have done the Avalanche Training Course 1.

    How can I evaluate the stability of the slope I want to ski? How to avoid between areas at risk of avalanche? What are the advance techniques for evaluate snow stability? These are some of the questions that the course will answer…

    My goal in this program is to provide the necessary skills to acquire a intermediate level to take the right decisions in avalanche situations. Moreover, it is based on the most advanced knowledge and available for those who has some prior technical experience.

    At the end of this interesting avalanche training course, participants will be able to:

    • Firstly, use the Avaluator™ to define which and when planning and travel techniques are necessary to move safely;
    • Use the technical movements in avalanche terrains;
    • Further, use the knowledge to choose the right place reducing the risks;
    • Be familiar with the verification techniques of the Avalanche probability system and what is more, with the Terrain Exposition Scale.
    • Indeed, provide a rescue aid memory;
    • Understand the limitations of their knowledge.

    As a final point, the program will take place in Murdochville, located in the province of Quebec in Canada. This is also a great opportunity to meet something about local culture of this beautiful place.

    So, if you have any interest in this course, you can ask me for the following departures and book your place now! Don’t hesitate in getting in touch with me! It will be a very enriching experience in your life. It will help you to improve your technical skills and also advance to the next stage of backcountry ski. I’ll be glad to be your instructor in this learning experience!
