Description

The landscapes in of the High Atlas, in Morocco, are legendary. But there is even more to discover in this area. With the right equipment, we will explore inaccessible hidden worlds. Until now, only some Berber shepherds of the surrounding villages knew these spots.

Join me for a trip in this beautiful canyoning zone!

To enjoy a fluent and safe progression, I will take a small group (5-6 people) and a local guide will also join us. We will make aquatic and dry abseilings and oppositions in the chaos of giant blocks. We will progress between vertiginous walls on each side of the canyon, sometimes more than 700 m high.

Each day, a new cocktail of pleasure, adrenaline and nature awaits you. I planned for you an intense 8-day trip, arriving and departing from Marrakech. We may have to adapt the program depending on the weather conditions.

I propose:
– 4 days of canyoning,
– 1 day ascending to the high plateaus,
– 2 days traveling and visiting Marrakech and the canyoning zone near the villages of Zahouiat Ahnansal and Tagghia (well known to climbers).

This is above all a human adventure. Respect, solidarity, mutual assistance and also an open spirit are the ingredients to enjoy these treasures of nature.

If you are interested in living this unforgettable experience with me in the Haut-Atlas, next to the Berbers, please contact me!

Mountain Leader

I am Spanish, born in Pau. I was raised following the rhythm of canyoning seasons of Sierra de Guara since the 80's, where my father, together with other pioneer guides, put together the first guide companies.

I have been a privileged witness for more than 30 years and I love this sport. I have seen it progress, the evolution of the materials and techniques, the spread around the world, and unfortunately the massification of some of them, victims of their own success... I am nevertheless interested in offering an approach of canyoning guiding that is at the same time simple, transversal and complete. Indeed, beyond safety, the sporting aspect, the commitment, the techniques and the pleasure of adrenalin, I consider it important to take our time, learn and marvel all our senses (and what can be better to do so than such a varied activity combining so many elements in sublime locations), and of course respecting the vulnerable environment that welcomes us...

My favorite canyoning sites are Sierra de Guara, the Pyrénées, Morocco, Mallorca, Slovenia and Italy, but there are also sublime spots in France, New Zealand, Latin America... and all those in my to-do list that I have yet to discover.

I really enjoyed my trip and I think I will remember it for a long time. That is untill I go back and make some new memories:) Which I am sure (and hope) will happen. I learned a lot new things there. Everyone in my group were really nice and friendly people, the only disadvantage for me was that I don't speak french and only a few of them knew some English. So  of course it would have made my trip even more enjoyable if I could communicate to everyone freely, including the guide. But even considering that we did not spreak the same language I was very happy with the guide. He gave us only things he knew we could do and made sure we felt safe at all times. He definitely did a good job on that. I have been telling everyone about this trip and saying it was one of the best I had..
