We invite you to join us on an incredible off-the-beaten-path adventure, climbing the spectacular Trolltunga Via Ferrata, a tour that also includes mountain biking and hiking through stunning landscapes.Starting from Skjeggedal, we will cycle for 6 kilometers off road, along the Ringedalen lake. Then we will hike up a beautiful valley until we get to the via ferrata route to the plateau, climbing up the 250 wall to one of the most breathtaking natural highlights in Norway: Trolltunga, the Troll’s Tongue!Bear in mind you need a good fitness level, good cycling skills and also a good head for heights to join this tour! We will climb up a steep mountain face, with the air beneath you, enjoying an adrenaline rush as you keep on your way to the spectacular Trolltunga.This day tour is quite long and demanding, but you will be rewarded with impressive natural beauty all the way long! The tour take us in total from 8 to 12 hours, depending on the group’s level, covering 28 km (round trip), with an elevation gain of 800 meters.

Requirements: Good physical condition (Please inform us of any medical conditions like asthma, epilepsy etc.) -Good cycling skills -This is not a hike for people with troublesome knees or strong fear of heights -Min. age: 15 years old.

Packing list and all necessary adventure information will be provided also in your booking confirmation.

Meeting point

We will meet at Trolltunga Active Base in Skjeggedal, at 07:00. We encourage you to join the Trolltunga Active information meeting at Trolltunga Hotel in Odda by 21:00 the evening prior to your tour. Our guides will inform you about the hike, equipment needed, weather forecast and more.
