Description

Aiguille Dibona is a fantastic place for a personalized multi-pitch climbing trip, with many classic and modern routes to choose from. Together with Filippo, an IFMGA/UIAGM Mountain Guide, you will select the best route based on your experience, goals, weather, and mountain conditions.

Possible routes include:

  • Voie du Nain – 4c
  • Dibona Directe Express – 5c
  • Madier – 6a
  • Visite Obligatoire – 6a+
  • Caro Airlines – 6a
  • Éthique de la Joie – 6a+

The climbing ranges from traditional and mixed routes to modern bolted multi-pitches, so there are options for different levels and styles.

Aiguille Dibona is also a very special place to spend a few days. Its granite walls, high-mountain setting, and beautiful views make the experience about much more than just one climb. Staying at the Refuge du Soreiller for 2 to 3 days gives you more flexibility to choose the best route according to the weather and conditions.

All levels are welcome, from climbers trying their first multi-pitch route to very experienced climbers looking for a more technical objective.

Day 1: Approach to the Refuge du Soreiller

Recommended itinerary

The experience can be organised over a minimum of 1.5 days, with an overnight stay at the Refuge du Soreiller.

Meeting with Filippo, equipment check and approach to the Refuge du Soreiller, located at the foot of Aiguille Dibona. After settling into the refuge, the route and objectives for the following day will be discussed.

Depending on timing and conditions, a short climbing session may also be possible.

Day 2: Multipitch climbing in Aiguille Dibona

Early start from the refuge and ascent of the selected multipitch route. The day will be dedicated to climbing, moving together as a roped team and enjoying the spectacular setting of Aiguille Dibona. The route will be chosen according to the group’s level and the conditions on the mountain.

2–3 days are recommended for a more complete experience. An additional day provides greater flexibility in choosing the best route, adapting the programme to weather and mountain conditions, and exploring different climbing possibilities around the Refuge du Soreiller.

The final itinerary will always be decided with Filippo, Mountain Guide, based on the participants’ experience, objectives and the conditions of the mountain.
